So, I've been edging around getting tested for hypothyroidism, but I"m pretty sure I have it. It runs in my family and I have all the classic symptoms. I"m just wondering, what IS the thyroid diet? I know I should avoid soy/legumes and boost the protein, but what else am I missing? I"m particularly curious because I"m vegan and trying to accomodate a high protein vegan diet WITHOUT soy and legumes is so far pretty rough....Is there a tagged entry somewhere I can look at?
